The piston is the most important part inside your air compressor's pump. Its job is to push the air and create the pressure that fills your tank. Without a good piston, your air tools won't work well!

  • Pistons come in different sizes. You must get the size that exactly fits your machine.
  • To order the right piston, you only need to know the Horsepower (HP) of your GNAT air compressor.
  • Refer to the table below:

  • Example 1: If you have a 15HP air compressor, and your smallest cylinder's piston needs to be replaced, then you order 60mm piston.
  • Example 2: If you have 10HP air compressor, and piston of your 1st and 2nd cylinder needs to change, then you order 2 quantity of 100mm piston.
